The CS can provide an efficient solution for THz imaging. This solution is the single pixel camera with CS, a concept developed at Rice University that has materialized in several laboratory models and an IR camera released on the market in 2013.
We reconsidered this concept in view of THz application and, at present, we have an experimental model for a THz camera. The paper has an extended section dedicated to the CS theory and single pixel camera architecture. In the end, we briefly presents the hardware and software solutions of our model, some characteristics and a first image obtained in visible domain.Ī new information optical technique of diagnostics of the structure of polycrystalline films of blood plasma is proposed. The model of Mueller-matrix description of mechanisms of optical anisotropy of such objects as optical activity, birefringence, as well as linear and circular dichroism is suggested. The ensemble of informationally topical azimuthally stable Mueller-matrix invariants is determined. Within the statistical analysis of such parameters distributions the objective criteria of differentiation of films of blood plasma taken from healthy and patients with liver cirrhosis were determined. From the point of view of probative medicine the operational characteristics (sensitivity, specificity and accuracy) of the information-optical method of Mueller-matrix mapping of polycrystalline films of blood plasma were found and its efficiency in diagnostics of liver cirrhosis was demonstrated.
